Jerry Cox

With an unwavering commitment to stretching, health, and fitness, Jerry brings over two decades of profound experience to the Health and Fitness Industry. Holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Exercise Science, Jerry's academic foundation is complemented by prestigious certifications from ACSM, NSCA, and NSI. Throughout his distinguished career, he has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in aiding diverse clientele, encompassing those dealing with strokes, cancer, MS, athletes, and more.

Jerry's exceptional journey also entails a decade-plus tenure specializing in stretching and fitness management. This wealth of experience uniquely equips him to not only empathize with each individual's distinctive flexibility and fitness objectives but also to provide the most effective guidance toward achieving a holistic and healthy lifestyle.

Mike Megill

A Kinesiology graduate from James Madison University, Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science and a Minor in Physical Therapy. Over the past 5 years, he has dedicated himself to assisting clients of diverse fitness levels in various capacities: as a skilled physical therapy assistant, a motivating personal trainer, and an certified stretch coach. Mike's multifaceted expertise encompasses fitness and specialized stretching techniques.

What sets Mike apart is not only his extensive background but also his unique qualities. His quiet strength and thoughtful demeanor enable him to establish meaningful connections with a wide array of clients, fostering trust and rapport. This is bolstered by his foundation in physical therapy, which provides an additional layer of insight into crafting effective fitness and stretching regimens. Mike's approach to overall wellness, incorporating both exercise science and specialized knowledge, underscores the comprehensive support he offers to clients on their health & wellness journeys.

Kerri Mann

Keri Mann's remarkable journey spans sports, fitness, and motherhood. A former college volleyball player turned 14-year athletic trainer, she later embraced her role as a devoted mom of three. Driven by an enduring fitness passion, Keri has a National Stretching Institue Professional Stretching Certification.

Her comprehensive stretching skills encompass hands on stretching techniques for increased flexibility, mobility, and proper alignment. Keri offers effective 1 on 1 stretching for improved range of motion, injury prevention, and enhanced athletic performance. Her dedication to continuous education underscores her commitment to helping others achieve their flexibility and fitness goals.

Chase Thomas

Chase, a graduate of Florida Southern College with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, originates from Louisville, Kentucky. He ventured to Florida to follow his passion for aiding individuals in achieving their health & wellness goals. As a former collegiate athlete he played baseball and basketball, his mission centers on elevating people's quality of life and bringing smiles to their faces.

With a comprehensive background that spans both the recipient and provider roles in physical therapy, Chase wholeheartedly champions the belief that incorporating stretching into our routines is fundamental for improving and sustaining our physical health. He truly believes that stretching is essential to improve and maintain our bodies so that we can live a care free and adventurous life. He looks forward to the prospect of connecting with you in the near future.

Tiara Berger

Tiara, originally from Columbus, Ohio, is a dedicated professional with a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science from The Ohio State University.

During her college years, Tiara honed her coaching skills with over four years of experience in high school cheerleading coaching. She also gained valuable professional experience at the Universal Cheerleading Association, where her passion for health and fitness took center stage.

Her dedication to promoting health and wellness extended to her role at a church community center, where she led youth fitness and sports programs for over three years. Her commitment to nurturing and guiding young individuals led her to become a foster parent, creating a supportive and caring environment for those in need.

For the last 7 years Tiara managed a holistic medical office and played a pivotal role in educating the community about the principles and benefits of natural health practices. Tiara's diverse background and extensive experience make her a valuable asset in stretching focused well-being and overall health improvement.

About the Founder.

For the past 14 years, I have helped hundreds of busy professionals in their 40s and up get rid of aches, pains and tightness so they can move better and feel younger. Whether you’ve done it all or are just getting started, our professional Stretching Sessions can help you move more often and more easily so you can do all the activities you enjoy and live a life you love.

When I started my career as a professional trainer, one of the first things I realized is that most people lack flexibility. They kept undoing all the progress they were making in the gym by spending most of their time sitting at a desk, on a couch, or in a car. No wonder they kept getting injured over and over again … because their body wasn’t in alignment. (If you’ve ever tried to drive a car that was out of alignment, you can just imagine how much stress is placed on your joints when your body is misaligned.)

So I created a simple stretching method to help my clients finally get rid of the pain and tightness that was holding them back, so they could finally get off the “pain train” and stop saying “no” to all the activities they love. No more bouncing from the physical therapist to the chiropractor to the massage therapist. My stretching method alone was able to resolve pain and reduce tightness in 99% of my clients who tried it!

The results were so astonishing that I founded the National Stretching Institute and now oversee the training and certification of hundreds of Stretching Professionals like myself, all over the world. After all, I don’t have anywhere close to the time required to stretch all the people who need it. So I’m just as passionate about showing other Stretching Professionals how to help their clients get out of pain as I am about helping my own.

What My Stretch Coach is NOT...

❌ It’s Not Yoga … There are some benefits of yoga, but spending extended periods of time in positions that are difficult – or even painful – is not going to get your body back into alignment or get rid of your pain and tightness.

❌ It’s Not 20 Toe Touches … “Can’t I just stretch myself?” You could, but you’d be missing out on having a Certified Stretch Coach identify exactly where and how you need to be stretched in order to alleviate your pain and unlock your flexibility.

What is a Stretching Session?

Each Stretching Session is personalized to you. You are stretched based on your needs. Each session is used to help your body recover from life, work and working out. Stretching Sessions help with better flexibility, movement, athletic performance and aches & pains. I recommend starting out with our Intro Stretching Session so that we can start you off with a detailed Alignment & Flexibility Assessment.

What Should You Expect?

When you come in for your Stretching Session, we will first start out with a quick alignment assessment that allows me to know where to focus on. As I take you through each stretch, we will be working on breathing and slowly increasing your flexibility and range of motion. During the Stretching Session, you will become more relaxed and start to see the benefits of the combination of stretches. After the session you will feel much looser and might feel like you are "walking on the moon" or "floating" which are common terms used by our clients. You simply feel looser and move with ease.

How Can Stretching Help You?

Stretching helps with muscle imbalances, muscle activation, flexibility, mobility and all of the little aches you get through the day. Stretching also provides a huge increase in quality of life when it comes to how you move. It helps performance in different athletics from running, jumping and overall strength.

What's F.A.S.T. Stretching?

We use a non-invasive stretching technique called the F.A.S.T. Stretching. The F.A.S.T. stands for Fascial Alignment Stretching Technique.

The F.A.S.T. Stretching is like no other stretching technique because it is designed to solve your body’s muscle imbalances and alignment issues that are causing your limited flexibility, aches, pains and tightness.

The F.A.S.T. Stretching improves your flexibility and mobility, and creates freedom of pain-free movement. This allows you to move better, perform better, do better and feel younger every day.

All of our Stretch Coaches at My Stretch Coach have wellness experience and are nationally certified in the F.A.S.T. Stretching by the National Stretching Institute, which is the industry leader in hands-on stretching education.

Each 45-minute, hands-on Stretching Session is done in a private, one-on-one setting and personalized to your specific needs.

Your Stretch Coach will perform two comprehensive assessments to see what is pulling your body out of alignment. Then, your Stretch Coach will be able to perform the best stretches that will directly target your specific tightness, imbalances and restrictions that are causing your aches and pains and limiting the activities you are able to do.
